Our postage prices include  insurance/ packaging and the labour taken to extensively package the parts, so they arrive on the customer’s doorstep in the used condition they were sent. For your own collections, the part will be handed over in its raw state with your name and address attached.

I’ve bought quite a few parts/ spent a fortune and expect them to be sent for free or AT LEAST a discount on postage. Do you offer this?

Answer:

Yes, customers with large orders always get a reduction in postage charges as the parts can be combined into one package. We are always looking to reduce postage charges, BUT you have to understand that a quality courier, and the packaging used to protect the parts during transportation, is never cheap.

5. Question:

I expect my part delivered to me right on my doorstep within 24hrs, without delay.  Do you do a MONEYBACK guarantee on this?

We use DHL for our international orders, one of the largest courier companies in the world, and we have total confidence in them.  One of the reasons we started this business was to sell parts worldwide, giving customers a true representation of the part, so they buy and receive what they expect.

13.  Question:
Hello, I’ve waited all day for the courier and, after checking on their website, found that it’s due for delivery today although nothing has arrived. It has been a waste of my entire day. I want my money back now, right now!
Answer:
Perhaps the courier probably couldn’t find your address or got caught in traffic or might have had a collision etc... hence the no show .  You can contact the local depot and they’ll advise or we’ll make the call for you. We can’t give refunds until the parts are back with us. If you’re not in and the courier attempted to deliver, they will try a further 2 times, and if still no answer, the part will be at their depot, awaiting your collection.

I logged on the website through my friends account, the prices for parts he/ she sees is cheaper than mine, with FREE postage, why is this?

Answer: Hello, its part of our customer service to regular customers, we have the option to fully adapt this website, to each and every individual customer, which is one of the reasons its taken a while to build. You may just see several parts forsale but someone else may see 000's.

Hello, we have large stocks of parts which we haven’t listed on the site yet, and we will check them.   If not, we can source a particular subframe for you; a deposit will be required if it’s not what we usually buy; then as soon as it’s in stock, we will let you know.

3. Question:

Hello, I’ve noticed you have several of the same type of engine for sale but at different prices; why is this? My local parts’ suppliers sell them all at the same price.
Answer:
All of our parts, even though of the same item, are priced according to the mileage they’ve travelled. The values vary according to mileage. Therefore, when a customer wants to purchase a low mileage item, they can be sure they'll be buying exactly that.

4. Question:

Hello, Do you have any service history or details of the car the engine has come out of?

Answer:

Hello, around 80% of our cars come with service history details as there direct from insurance company with 1-2 owners, we include any information like this on the webpage, so you can see that the cars been serviced well so in return a very good engine or mechanical part. Also our engine's are independantly compression and cylinder leak tested.

Answer:

Hello, we only list parts on our website which are ready to be dispatched within 24/ 48hours of receiving payment, so they have already been removed and stored in our extensive racking. 8. Question:

Hello, I’m disabled (wheel chair) & would like to purchase one of your spare tyres. I notice you only send them out without air; it would make my life easier if you could pump it up to my required car pressure before postage. Is this possible?

Answer:
Hello, we are always prepared to go to extra lengths to provide a part to people with disabilities; it’s one of the reasons we have the live chat feature, so customers with hearing/ speech disabilities can have an online live conversation. It shouldn’t be a problem sending the tyre, pumped up to your vehicle’s required pressure.

9. Question:

Hello, do you grind off any numbers on the engine/gearbox as I would like to change them on my registration document?
Answer:
Hello, no we don’t. All numbers are pictured/ marked for our own records as well as for the benefit of customers.

10.  Question:

Hello, I want to purchase a driveshaft but I’ve cross threaded several of my bolts and the large nut. Do you sell them?

11Question:

Do your body panels have any dents or scratches, as when I purchased a wing from a local scrap yard, they said it’s to be expected on used parts and didn’t give my money back?

Answer:

No they don’t. But if they did, we would highlight them in the pictures; some people think a few dents/ marks are acceptable while some don’t, so you can make the decision. And even if you did purchase and change your mind, you’re welcome to return it for a refund.

12.  Question:
Hello, I’ve been looking at the prices of some of your panels and they appear on the high side compared to new body panels, I’ve been told that insurance approved panels are just as good as originals, and are 1/2 the price of your panels new! SO would you sell the door I’m interested in cheaper?
Answer:
Hello, insurance approved panels are made for insurance companies, as they don’t want to pay for original parts. They’re cheap for a reason and that’s because they’re of a poorer quality in terms of pattern/ grade of metal and corrosion protection. From our experience of repairing heavy smashed cars, original is always best. We have on several occasions jigged a vehicle and tried to use pattern parts, only to find that they don’t fit right, even though the car chassis is straight, so the answer is NO! And original painted factory panels don’t show signs of paintwork, so if you’re alignment is perfect no one will ever know the vehicle has sustained accident damage, which is a major factor in resale values.

13.  Question:

Hello, I’m an OAP with slight disability in my hand, so can’t do fiddly jobs/ work; I’m interested in one of your pristine condition doors, as someone smashed mine in the supermarket car park and drove off. I only need the BARE door but can't change the window mechanism/ handle etc... it’s the same model as yours.  Is there any chance you could send me out the full door minus the door card and I’ll send back my slightly dented door so you could salvage the mechanism/ door handle and catch and dispose of the damaged bare door?
Answer:
Yes, so long as your door mechanicals work just as well as ours. We will charge you for the complete door and when yours is returned a refund will be given for your replacement parts.

16.  Question:

I think your prices are very high compared to my local scrap yard; can you sell the parts cheaper?
Answer:
No; we only source our parts from cars of the best condition.

17. Question:

Even though you’ve taken several pictures of the part I want to buy, can you send me further pictures?
Answer:
Yes were always happy to send extra pictures to give customers a true representation of the part before they part with money. We are aware that everyone has a different opinion as to what is acceptable for a used part, hence the extensive picture and video clips on the site.

18Question:

19. Question:

I’m based overseas and want to fly over to view a few of your parts. We plan to buy a lot and wish to discuss possible long-term supply of parts, especially your engines. Could you collect me from the local airport?
Answer:
Yes, we welcome customers to view our parts and are ready to collect customers from local airport.

20.  Question:

I’ve been keeping an eye or two on some parts on your website, hoping that they might come down in price. Is there any chance of this?
Answer
Not really as if we don’t sell the part over the site we'll most likely use it to repair one of our own cars. We only sell parts we would use to repair our own cars. But from past experience our parts always sell, so it’s not a matter of IF but WHEN.

21.  Question:
I’m located overseas and wish to purchase several parts over a 6 week period, but wouldn’t like them all shipped out until the last purchase. Could you store them for us over this period?
Answer:
Hello, yes we have extensive warehousing and container storage, so you can be sure that all parts will always be safe and secure until they’re shipped.

22. Question:
Do you own all your goods and have them in stock?
Answer:
Hello, yes we only sell parts which we own and which are in our possession ready to be shipped out once payment has been received. We definitely don’t sell parts we don’t own or are not in our possession, which is why we have the parts/ cars due in section to make customers aware of what we are planning to purchase or have due in for arrival.

23.Question:
Hello, you don’t seem to list the nuts & bolts on your website; I also need a few jubilee clips. Do you scrap them? If so, can you send me a few out for free?
Answer:
Hello, we will be listing them in the near future; we can’t send them out for free as everything we have is bought, so even they have a price. Email your request and we can sell you ones you require.

24. Question:
Hello, Do you sell the complete mechanicals from a car e.g. engine/ gearbox/ wiring in one piece then axle on back? I want to buy everything and you can ship to me?
Answer:
Hello, yes we can; it’s how we sell about 80% of our parts overseas. We already remove the engine complete with wiring/ suspension/ gearbox still attached. We usually remove all the parts from one car instead of matching the parts from several other cars we've broken. If you let us know your exact requirements i.e. max mileage/ codes etc... we can source a vehicle to remove the parts from.

25. Question:
Answer:

26. Question:

I want to buy some alloys but don’t have the time to get them balanced or filled with air; is this something you can do before postage?

Answer:

Hello, we check every alloy sold on a balancing machine just to make sure there are no buckles, even though they’ve come off lightly smashed cars, because we never take risks with safety.  As for filling them up to pressure, that’s fine. Just drop us an email with the details.

27.Question:

Hello, are your parts stored inside, under dry conditions? I purchased an interior for one of my cars last year and the scrap yard we bought them from sent them near enough drenched. The condition was fine as they described, but it took us nearly one week to dry them out. When I asked them, they told us they only remove parts once a customer has purchased even though the car had smashed windows; they claimed it was standard practice.
Answer:
Hello, its not standard practice for us!  Some larger scrap yards simply can’t rack all the parts as they process 00,000's of cars every year. We’re not that large and everything is removed and stored on our indoor custom built racking; we store the best parts in the best way.  We can’t afford to have body panels scratched or interiors damaged as we pay a lot of money for our cars. You can be sure that our interiors are dry and in the same condition as in the pictures.

28. Question:

My vision is slightly impaired, so I can’t make out all the pictures. Can you describe in writing the condition of the seats and if there is any extensive wear or tear to them?
Answer:

Hello, yes we are always ready to provide extra info should a customer require, as there is nothing worse than buying used parts in the condition you don’t want. Most of our parts have written descriptions, but if you require a more detailed description, drop us an email.

29. Question:

I’ve bought a bonnet and noticed a few little marks which you didn’t pick up on or note, I'm not happy about this, as I expected a bonnet in brand new condition, so I want my money back.
Answer:
Hello, every used part will have signs of being used.   If you want brand new paintwork, we suggest you go and buy brand new parts and get them sprayed; you’re covered buy the distance selling regulation, so send it back for a refund. Please make sure it’s well packaged and insured as it’s your responsibility to make sure it arrives in the same condition we sold it.

30. Question:
Do you offer warranty on the parts you sell, that they actually work?
Answer:

Hello, we offer a 30 day warranty and most come with 6 months minimum and all of our parts are taken off cars which are in fully running order, hence the use of video clips showing many parts being used before removal; we feel that this is the best test. The cars we remove parts off are specifically low mileage; we choose to buy these as there will be less use on the components so everything will be working as it should be.

31. Question:
Why are your engines selling for more than the ones at my local scrap yard; I've been told they run fine just like yours?
Answer

Because our engines are sourced from low mileage vehicles, and a low mileage vehicle will have fewer signs of wear and tear than a high mileage car, they’re worth more, which is why our parts cost more.  We pay more for the cars, and all our engines can be backed up by proof of the mileage (as per the details on our website) so you can sure your buying parts you expect, not what others want you to expect.

32. Question:

I’m looking for some wheels off one of your cars; why aren’t they listed?
Answer

They might have sold or we just haven’t got around to listing them; send an email to confirm. We only list parts we have ready for dispatch and in stock; we NEVER advertise parts which are either sold or not ours.

33. Question:
I want to buy 1 alloy out of a set you’re selling.
Answer:
We don’t usually break our sets up, but we may have one that’s not listed, so email for further details.

34. Question:

My car needs an engine/ gearbox how do I find the code?

35. Question:

Can get me your parts a lot cheaper? Do you price match?
Answer:

No I suggest if you can find parts of the same quality cheaper go and buy them.

36. Question:

Will I have to remove parts off the car when I come to collect?
Answer:

No we have a warehouse just to store all of our parts, so when you come they will be shelved ready and waiting to be collected. No risks of storage marks or damage, as we have invested £'0000s in quality racking.

37. Question:

I don’t want to pay the high postage costs, can I collect?

Answer:

Yes, we prefer collections, as it saves us packaging the parts up; make sure you call before travelling, to check if the part is still available.

38. Question:

Do you have any sales? I’m hoping to buy a part but don’t want to pay the price when could have got it cheaper a week later?

Answer:

39. Question:

I want to buy a set of your pristine condition alloys.  Would you be interested in taking mine in p.x.? The tyres have plenty of tread although they are kerbed, but not buckled.

40. Question:

I’ve just blown the engine in my car, haven’t got the money to buy a new one, and was thinking of breaking it and selling bits. However, I don’t have much garage space; would you be interested in buying it? The bodywork/ interior is in unmarked condition

Answer:

Hello, yes we might be interested in stripping it for the body panels; please email us pictures and what your asking price is.

41. Question:

I’ve just stripped my car as it has had a minor smash. Would you be interested in buying the engine? It’s very low mileage with main dealer service history; just had a cambelt change last week. It’s already removed complete with gearbox, so saves you the hassle of removing it.

Answer:

Hello, unfortunately we wouldn’t be interested if it’s removed, as we’ve not heard it running ourselves.  We would be selling it on, so if it turned out to be damaged, it would be our reputation on the line. Our customers want to see their engine running in the car before it’s removed. We also don’t mind stripping them out ourselves; we’re not work shy!

42. Question:

Do you wash the engine or any of the parts before sending them out?  I purchased a driveshaft from scrap yard and when I received it, it was soaking in oil, which made a mess of my car.

Answer:

Hello, we very rarely steam wash our mechanical parts, as they’re already in very good condition, and we definitely don’t try to make them look newer or better than they are; we don’t need to as all the cars we dismantle are very low mileage so you rarely get oil leaks etc...

43. Question:

DO you carry out any other tests on your engine's other than just running them?

Answer:

Hello, Yes we get them independantly cylinder leak down & compression tested to see how much pressure the pistons are creating and how well the cylinder is sealing.

44. Question:

Hello, are you certain that body panels your selling which match mine?

Question: Are you certain that your body panels of the same paint code will match mine?
Answer:
Yes, if the car has the original factory paintwork we can be certain they'll match. There are different shades to paint codes, e.g. some silver Renault Clios have a blue or green tint; we will do our best to state the exact colour code / shades.

Answer:

Hello, yes if the car has orginal factory paintwork they will but you have to take into consideration wear and tear to the paintwork, but 99% of the time they will match, and if your not happy simply return the part in accordance with our refund policy.

45. Question:

Answer:

Hello, this might be possible, please email for details.

46. Question:

Im interested in some leather seats but notice several dents in the leather, are these rips/ cuts how can these be removed?

Answer:

Hello, these dents are caused by objects left on the seats, there not ripped or torn leather, when the leather is sat on they will even out and disappear. SImilar to if you lent on your leather sofa it will cause a indent into the leather and when sat on this indent will even out.

50. Question:

Do you sell any aftermarket parts, like forge boost pipes for audi S3? as ive noticed you seem to dismantle alot of them.

Answer: Hello, no we tend to avoid buy cars which have any sort of modifications as these are usually driven beyond the manufacurer purpose; e.g. tracked/ raced so parts will have extensive wear than usual.

51. Question:

I seen a engine can i collect it today? just need the head/ block & sump, will take 1hour to arrive at your warehouse.

53. Question: I logged on the website through my friends account and he can see more parts  selling when  access through my account, why is this? I want to buy some of them parts.

Answer: Hello, its part of our focused customer service, we've found its extremely helpful for customers whom repair heavy smashed cars, and as they go along discover other parts they may be required, then they can simply logon and purchase more parts from the same vehicle, they purchased the engine block from and avoids missing out on parts someone else may purchase. The website is fully flexible towards the needs of the customer which is why its taken time to build.

Please make sure you insure the item as it will have to be in exactly the same condition as sent. You are covered by the distance selling regulation, so we welcome any customer returns.

2. Question:

Does the distance selling regulation on your website, cover countries outside of the E.U?

Answer:

Yes, no matter where you’re located in the world, our terms and conditions will be applied to every part purchased.  We set this website up due to demand from overseas customers, and that is why we sell the parts we do the way we do.  We totally understand the risks and fears from buying from a company located 00,000's of miles away. If the part gets damaged whilst in transit, you will be entitled to a full refund, and if the part doesn’t work, you will be entitled to a full refund.  Please read our terms and conditions along with faqs before purchasing everything, so your fully aware with the way we sell parts.

3.  Question:

Hello, I’m a lady driver and a bit dubious about used parts as I’ve been ripped off before. I’m not sure what parts are required but have a list given to me by the local mechanic who thinks there might be at fault. Could I return the parts which I don’t use?
Answer
Hello, we suggest you get the problem on your vehicle diagnosed by a vat registered garage or even better a main dealer that can pinpoint the fault and not guess at your expense. We do accept returns, subject to a restocking fee, if they’re not used, and only like to sell customers parts they actually need, not what they think they might need. Thanks

4.  Question:

The item got damaged by the courier and I don’t want to send any pictures or a written statement confirming this, but want my money back now.
Answer:

Unfortunately, we can’t just take your word on it, pictures have to be submitted of the damaged part and packaging so we can submit an insurance claim to the courier company. They will investigate damages and any false claims are dealt with accordingly (i.e. fraud - a criminal offence), so without evidence, your claim will be rejected and no refund.

5.  Question:

I’ve got a fault with my car, but can’t figure it out. Could I purchase several parts from you and then return the ones not required after trying them on my car?
Answer:

NO, we ONLY accept returns if they’re sent back in unused condition.  As you've probably noticed, the website has a high content of video clips & images to show the condition of each part and their excellent working condition. We also take pictures of parts packaged and marked, so if these marks are removed, they will not be accepted for a full refund.

6.  Question:

Hello, do you offer trials wit part payment? For example, I would like to purchase a set of alloys, but am not sure what they'll look like on my car. Would you send them on 1/2 payment, then if I decide to buy, I'll send the remainder of payment or send them back
Answer:

NO, we don’t send any item until FULL payment has cleared into our bank account. If a product is used and sent back, it is not acceptable. The cheapest site for our parts is on our website, where we don’t have to pay those fees; it’s why we built this website -  the £0000's of fees we were paying through other websites every month made it worthwhile investing in our own site and establishing a business for the long term.

Answer: Hello, were sorry your call wasn't answered most likely because were busy picturing cars to advertise the parts or uploading them onto our website, we take inexcess of 2000 per a car to give customers a very good representation of the used part. Email your phone number and we'll be happy to call you back.

8. Question: How come you dont offer longer warranties for your parts or offer extended warranty like other car part sellers.

Answer:  Hello, we don’t use warranties to sell our parts or have never needed to. The quality of the part is what sells it.  All of our parts are sourced off cars very lightly damaged, they all run and drive, majority come with proof of mileage (previous MoT's / service history). So there is no reason for example, a low mileage engine serviced in accordance with manufacturer recommended intervals should suffer any problems in the future. Every business has there own different ways to sell parts this is our way; focusing on the actual part.
